Learn to care for your synthetic organic fiber

Many who are tempted to buy hair extensions end up frustrated because they don't quite know how to take care of new hair. If you are having trouble taking care of your synthetic hair and are looking for maintenance tips for organic fiber, you can invest your time in this care that I will tell you now.

1 - Care when washing

Even if your hair is synthetic, you need to wash it regularly, especially if you use it daily. However, washing does not have to be daily, but at least weekly.

Use shampoo and conditioner to remove dirt and dust that maybe accumulated on the wires. If you used some hairspray, or oil to style the strands during the day, it is interesting to wash the strands at the end of the day to get the product out of your head.

2 - Back off with patience

There are some untangling sprays on the market that can be passed daily along its length, to ensure that the curls will not tangle throughout the day. If you don't have it at home, you can make a solution that mixes water and a little cream to style in a spray bottle and use the solution in the synthetic hair extension.

3 - Avoid combing curly synthetic hair

In the case of curly synthetic hair, you do not need to comb so regularly because the act of combing can generate unnecessary frizz. However, if you want to comb the threads of your synthetic fiber, use a brush suitable for wigs, or wide arrow combs because of the curls.

4 - Avoid using flat iron and baby liss

Always be careful when using stylers that use heat when styling your synthetic hair extension. The fact is that organic hair tends to be straight when exposed to high temperatures, so you can lose the original curls of your synthetic fiber when using flat iron and dryers.

5 - Cut the tips for maintenance

Sometimes you will need to cut the ends that are too dry with frizz. In addition, you will sometimes need the scissors to remove one or the other knot. But don't be sorry, remember that synthetic hair doesn't last forever, so in an hour you'll have to get rid of it anyway ...

6 - Care when drying

The ideal is that you don't use a hairdryer on your curly synthetic hair, but we know that sometimes the rush comes and we are thirsty. So always use at the lowest temperature of the dryer and dry as much as possible outdoors. The heat from the dryer can increase frizz.

7 - Back off with your fingers whenever possible

You can untangle and remove the knots from your synthetic hair with your own hands, as an alternative to the comb or brush. Once your hair is dry, avoid touching the fiber too much as it is not real, and you can lose hydration more quickly, leaving you with that dry plastic look.

8 - Set aside time for this care

All of this daily care can take some time. So, set aside atleast half an hour a day to take care of organic hair. Also, remember that even after all the care, some strands will come loose, and the synthetic hair may look dry. But at those times, you can use a few tricks to renew your fiber. These tricks I will tell in another post.
